How to Get Listed in the Directory
This Directory is organized by subject and most sites in it are suggested to us by users. Sites are placed in categories by our content team, who visit and evaluate your suggestions and decide where they best belong. We do this to ensure that the Directory is organized in the best possible way, is easy to use, intuitive, helpful, and fair to everyone.

With this in mind, we ask that you follow three simple steps if you have a site (URL) you'd like to suggest:

1. Check to see if your site is already listed.
An important first step, because if your site is already listed, you do not need to submit it again. Check by searching for your site by title, or by browsing appropriate categories. (You can do this from most pages within the directory using the search box near the top of the screen).

2: Find the appropriate category in the Directory.
Finding an appropriate category for your site is at the heart of this process. Remember that our content team visit each site suggested and proper categorization on your part helps us process suggestions quickly.

3. Suggest your site from the appropriate category.
Suggest your site from the category you think most appropriate. Do this by clicking on the "Add URL" link at the top left of that category page. Also remember that the final placement of your site is determined by our content team.

When you click on "Add URL" in the appropriate category, you'll see an on-line form asking for information about your site. (In the "category" space on the form, you'll see the name of the category and any sub categories you have chosen.) Please be prepared to provide your e-mail address, your site's title, URL, a brief description and up to 15 key search words to associate with your entry. Please ensure that you use the full URL (http://www.africahome.com/spacer.gif) in your entry. Also, we ask that you do not use any non-alphanumeric characters in the description or keywords. Separate your keywords with spaces, not commas!

SPECIAL TOP 10 FEATURE: One of the things we have to offer you, in addition to your listing, is a chance to have your site voted on, by your visitors, to be considered one of the Top 10 listings in its category, [CATEGORY] :: [SUBCATEGORY]. For you to be included in the Top 10 list, you need to place a code of HTML on your site that will allow your visitors to rate your site on AFRICAHOME.COM

Note: You must replace SITE ID NUMBER with the ID Number that was given to your site when you first listed it on AFRICAHOME.COM (you should have received it by e-mail when you site was approved. However, if your site is already listed and was listed by us, contact us (africah) to get your site ID Number.

We update our database on average every two to three days and sites following the guidelines above can expect to be added in this time. Please help us to help you by providing your information as outlined above.

Comment ajouter votre lien
Ce répertoire est organisé par sujets et les sites répertoriés ont suggéré ou listés par les utilisateurs dans la plupart des cas. Les sites sont répertoriés par catégories et le listing des sites est mis à jour une fois par jour vers minuit. Votre site apparaîtra donc la plupart du temps le jour suivant.

Pour ajouter le lien de votre site, il y a trois étapes à suivre:

1. Vérifiez que votre site n'est pas encore listé.
Vous pouvez lancer une recherche pour vérifier que votre site n'est pas encore répertorié. S'il ne l'est pas...

2: Trouvez la catégorie qui convient à votre site et cliquez dessus.
Après avoir cliqué sur la bonne catégorie pour votre site...

3. Cliquez sur le lien "Ajouter votre lien" (ADD URL).
Rentrez l'information sur le formulaire et soumettez votre site.

Vous aurez à fournir le nom du contact, le e-mail du contact, l'adresse URL du site, le nom du site, une brève description du site, des mots-clés (http://www.africahome.com/spacer.gif), etc. Suivez les instructions sur l'écran. ATTENTION: utilisez uniquement des caractères alpha-numériques et séparez vos mots avec des espaces, pas des virgules. Vos liens doivent aussi être complet, avec le string "http://....."
