CAAS - Home Page
The Center for Afroamerican and African Studies (CAAS) functions as an academic department and as three area studies programs. It has its own undergraduate program, courses, and faculty. It is also a home for interdisciplinary area studies research. It helps promote scholarship and teaching in African Studies, African American Studies, and Afro-Caribbean Studies throughout the University of Michigan. -

AAfrican and African American Studies Program At Darmouth College
The African and African American Studies (AAAS) Program is designed to provide all students at Dartmouth with an understanding of the historical, economic, political, social, and artistic experiences of people of African ancestry in North America, South America, the Caribbean, Africa and elsewhere. As such, the Program is multidisciplinary in approach, encompassing those courses from the humanities and social sciences which are concerned with the heritage, experiences, and aspirations of Africans and people of African ancestry in the Americas. -
